What Does The Error Mean?

This error will occur within the mobile app when the cleaner or supervisor is physically outside of a mandatory geofence. This error will also occur if the GPS device in their phone is placing them outside of the mandatory geofence.

Solution

Advise the cleaner they need to sign in at the location. If they are at the location you can check a few things:

  1. Check the Swept Web App to see how the geofence was drawn. Log in to the Swept Web App and go to "Locations" in the left hand menu. Click on the upside down teardrop to access the geofence. If the geofence is drawn close to the walls of the location or has a lot of points (we suggest four) this can cause an issue with the mandatory geofence.
  2. Disable geofence for the individual cleaner. If the cleaner is physically at the location they may have an issue with the GPS in their device. You can disable the mandatory geofence for a specific cleaner within the web app by going to "Cleaners" in the left hand menu. On the same line of the cleaner click on the green pencil on the right side of the screen. Scroll down the page to see the option "Disable Mandatory GeoFence Sign In/Out". Click on the toggle and it will change to blue then scroll to the bottom and click "Save". This way the cleaner can sign in to the location even though their GPS is showing them elsewhere.
