The Swept Quick Estimate app is a very handy tool when trying to get a quick estimate of what to charge a client for the job at hand. It can also be used on the go while at a potential job site.

You can download this application onto your mobile device by going into the App Store (iPhone users) or the Google Play Store (Android users) and searching "Swept Quick Estimate" in the search bar. You can also download this app by clicking here

The app itself has three sections on the home page:

  1. “+ New Estimate”
  2. “Saved Estimates”
  3. “About This App”

1. New Estimate:

The “New Estimate” feature allows users to add information regarding the space to be cleaned. Here, you will be able to fill in the following information:

1: Square footage

2: Number of washrooms

3: Number of kitchens

4: Primary floor type (carpet, hard wood, etc)

5: The hourly rate which the client is charged

6: The frequency of the cleanings you will be conducting at this location (daily, weekly, monthly)

7: How many cleanings you will be doing in that specific time frame - For example, if this will be a weekly cleaning contract, you can select how many cleanings will be conducted in a week at that location. Example: 3 cleanings per week.

The app also gives users the ability to assign cleaning times to a specific area. Example: 45 minutes for cleaning washrooms.

#6 - Cleaning Frequency Setting

#7 - Cleaning times for specific areas

Once you have filled out the information for each section as desired and "saved", click on the "Estimate" button in the upper left hand corner to bring you back to the main estimate page. You will then see a blue “Calculate” button on the bottom of the screen. Once clicked, the app will bring you to a new screen which will show you an estimated cost amount to charge the client annually and monthly. You will also see the “Hours Per Cleaning” time and a recap of the information you had submitted. You are also able to edit this estimate as required.

2. Save Estimate

Once you have your estimate, you also have the option to “Save” that estimate. To do this, click on the blue “Save” button on the bottom of the screen. Once you have clicked “Save”, you will then be prompted to name that estimate you have just completed. It is recommended to type in the building/contract name that estimate is for. This way, you will be able to quickly look for a specific estimate for a specific location when viewing saved estimates.

Once the estimate has been saved, the app will then bring you to a list of all of your saved estimates where you can then edit/delete any as desired. To return to the main page, click the grey home button on the upper left hand corner of the app.

To access/edit any “Saved” estimates later on, click the little grey house symbol on the upper left hand corner of the screen, which will bring you back to the home screen. Once you have done this, you will see the three main features once again. Click on “Saved Estimates” to view all of the estimates you have created and saved here. If you click on an estimate, you will be able to see the details of that specific estimate, and will also be given the option to “Edit” or “Delete” the estimate on the bottom of the page.

The final button on the home screen is titled “About the App”, which gives users a small explanation on Swept Quick Estimate.
